Behind the name King Hüsky is Vidar Landa, who most people will associate with the norwegian rock/metal band Kvelertak, where he is the guitarist and one of the founding members.

King Hüsky does not sound anything near Kvelertak. Vidar has created his own little universe of odd characters entwined with everyday observations and living, combined with a carefree pop sensibility and good taste. On his debut, he is joined by his friends and family including Arthur Berning, Børge Fjordheim and Anne Lise Frøkedal who also helped producing the album.
